Bourton on the Water is so central it makes the perfect base for exploring the Cotswolds. It is a beautiful area for walking, cycling or touring and not too far to the towns either - 15 miles to Cheltenham and the races, and just 25 miles to Stratford upon Avon and the theatres.

The accommodation - fully refurbished in 2010 - is thoroughly modern yet retains all the character and charm of this 300 year old Grade II listed building. A great deal of thought has gone into these conversions that cover the upper floors at the front of the property overlooking the village centre and the River Windrush. A live webcam shows the view from the lounge windows.

Each apartment is completely self contained and has its own unique character. Both have one bedroom and are finished to an very high standard. Price-wise and equipment-wise they are identical. A full spec and inventory is given on the individual apartment page and includes, full central heating, mood lighting, large plasma TV, Sky+ with HD, Wi-Fi and so on. The apartments are strictly non smoking. Pets and children under 16 are not accepted.

If the apartments are booked on a date that coincides with a one day Perfumery Course or Lab Day, a discount of £50 is given for each place taken on these courses. Learning how to make perfume as part of a holiday makes a break with a real difference. There is simply no other course like it.
