APARTMENT ONE

Situated on the first floor, Apartment One has a classic feel and sleeps two. A spacious 21’ x 15’ lounge has a bay window facing the river - perfect for people watching! It has a home entertainment system comprising 42” HD plasma TV, Sky+ with HD, a Denon stereo system (switchable to the bathroom), Blue Ray DVD player, and Wi-Fi. If you have an iPod or iPhone, the USB connector will connect directly to the Denon which will recharge it at the same time.

An oak dining table and chairs is strategically placed in the bay window for the perfect view. There is also a 3-seater leather reclining settee and leather armchair. Mood lighting (in all rooms) completes the atmosphere with preset levels for ease of use as well as a handheld remote control for the ultra lazy!

The kitchen is small but well equipped with double oven, gas hob, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and waste disposal unit. A separate utility area houses a washing machine and tumble dryer.

The bedroom is comfortable and spacious with a King size Relyon bed, built in wardrobe, a dressing table and hair dryer. A 32” LCD TV is suspended from the ceiling above the bed.

The ensuite bathroom has a large bath, separate shower, dual fuel towel rail, bath robes, ceiling mounted speakers with volume control, luxury jumbo size bath towels, backlit mirror (with separate magnifying mirror), floor to ceiling tiles, and underfloor heating.

Due to the nature of an old building, there are steps between most rooms (see our Access Statement), but if mobility is an issue, this apartment has fewer steps than Apartment Two.

A secluded private garden at the rear of the Perfumery (the Perfume Garden) is available evenings and during the day at times when Factory Tours are not being conducted (2 per day).

For your security the apartment is equipped with a burglar alarm, a small room safe, a full fire alarm system and a Garrison lock on the main door.

A comprehensive information folder is packed with ideas for things to do and see in the area - everything from cycle routes, and walks in the woods to local theatres and boat trips. A full list of the apartment contents is in our downloadable inventory.
