Apartment Two

Situated on the second floor, Apartment Two has a romantic feel and sleeps two. A spacious 15’ x 15’ lounge has a view facing the village centre and the river Windrush. It has a home entertainment system comprising 42” HD plasma TV, Sky+ with HD, a Denon stereo system (switchable to the bathroom), Blue Ray DVD player, and Wi-Fi. If you have an iPod or iPhone, the USB connector will connect directly to the Denon which will recharge it at the same time.

An oak dining table and chairs is strategically placed by the window and there is a 3-seater leather reclining settee. Original elm purlings have been fully restored and mood lighting (in all rooms) completes the atmosphere with preset levels for ease of use as well as a handheld remote control for the ultra lazy!

The kitchen is small but well equipped with double oven, gas hob, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and waste disposal unit. A separate utility area houses a washing machine and tumble dryer.

The bedroom is small but comfortable with a King size Relyon bed, wardrobe, dressing table, hair dryer and a wall mounted 32” LCD TV. The high vaulted ceiling allows for a mezzanine floor accessible by a fixed ladder. This houses a small desk, storage cupboards and a rooflight overlooking the courtyard.

The ensuite bathroom has a large bath, separate shower, dual fuel towel rail, bath robes, ceiling mounted speakers with volume control, luxury jumbo size bath towels, backlit mirror (with separate magnifying mirror), floor to ceiling tiles, and underfloor heating.

Due to the nature of an old building, there are steps between most rooms. Combined with all the beams, this multi-level apartment has great character, but if mobility is an issue, Apartment One has fewer steps.

A secluded private garden at the rear of the Perfumery (the Perfume Garden) is available evenings and during the day at times when Factory Tours are not being conducted (2 per day).

For your security the apartment is equipped with a burglar alarm, a small room safe, a full fire alarm system and a Garrison lock on the main door.

A comprehensive information folder is packed with ideas for things to do and see in the area - everything from cycle routes, and walks in the woods to local theatres and boat trips. A full list of the apartment contents is in our downloadable inventory.

Parking

The Perfumery is situated in Victoria Street where some parking is unrestricted, some is 4hrs, but being in the centre of the village there is obviously some competition for spaces and it would be misleading for us not to say that at times it can be difficult. For this reason we have negotiated some parking spaces for our tenants at various places in the village centre – all within a 2 minute walk of the apartments. One is locked after 5pm, so whilst secure, prevents use until 9am the following day. Please put requests for this space in “Comments” on the booking form if you want it. Other times, we may be able to use our own cars to “reserve” places in Victoria Street whenever possible – but this cannot be guaranteed. We are well aware of the parking issue and will do our best to come to a satisfactory solution for your stay. On arrival and departure however, you may stop at the Perfumery to unload/load.
